My work: My effortless Milton Trager Method is a totally natural, wholesome
way to let clients observe and feel subtle changes in their bodies, to learn to
move within comfort zone and to increase vitality. My clients enjoy comfort and
ease of playful movement reeducation and releasing of long term blocks and stiffness
in their bodies. Their muscles melt and become softer, pain goes away, movement
is flexible and fluent, mind is relaxed, feeling full acceptance. To fully benefit
from a Trager Approach, it is better to have series of sessions. Each Trager session
is customized to client's current needs and abilities, and combines gentle table
work with self care exercises. My typical Trager session consists of three parts:
1. Mentastics, which are easy, joyful light movements, done by client
with my suggestions. I observe clients body during that part, and see where there
are restricted, blocked areas, inviting me to work during table session.
2.
Table session, during which comfortably clothed client spends relaxing time on
a soft massage table, while I am gently rocking and moving client's body to find,
reduce and remove muscle and joint tensions. Gentle, considerate, caring and calming
movements increase relaxation of mind and body. Clients feeling of her/his body
is enriched by new sensations, showing her/him what is possible, how movement
can be achieved lighter, easier, simpler. That is movement reeducation. Clients
mind can learn what is possible, safe and pleasurable in their movement. Old tensions
are released and mobility is increased in a natural way.
3. Mentastics
again, to feel how client's body is more reliable and confident. Here client receives
suggestions to self care movements to practice and enjoy at home. When
I practice Milton Trager Method, it can allow my clients to: o Benefit physically,
mentally, emotionally in a totally natural way. o Recover faster from physical
injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder o Improve health in Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome o Remove back and neck pain and headaches. o Release stress,
mental patterns, anxiety, relax body and mind. o Experience greater vitality
and harmony. o Feel good about yourself.
